Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure that products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulations.
Perform audits and assessments of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards associated with ISO:
9001 and AS9100.
Develop and execute quality inspection procedures to verify that products meet specified requirements and standards.
Analyze data and generate reports to monitor product quality, identify trends, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Participate in the investigation of product quality issues, identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
Train and mentor production personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, and quality control procedures.
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure that quality issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Manage the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure that measurements are accurate and reliable.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements/
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook) Manufacturing ERP software knowledge.
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree/Bachelor of Science degree preferred but not required.
US Citizen, or US Permanent Resident in accordance with ITAR compliance requirements.
Physical Requirements:
ability to lift minimum 10 lbs.
