Payroll Analyst (Contractor)The Sr.
Payroll Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll under direction of the Sr.
Payroll Manager.
The payroll analyst will support over 600 employees in multiple states and work collaboratively with Human Resources and the Finance Department to ensure payroll efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for processing the Biweekly in-house payroll.
Reconcile/audit payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
Perform stock transaction processing.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns.
Prepare periodic payroll and financial reports for review by management, accounting, and auditing purposes.
Assist with resolving outstanding tax issues, setting up accounts in new states and acquired companies or other tax agency notices.
Assist with 401k, Workers' Comp and Payroll audits.
Perform ad hoc analyses and assist on special projects as required.

Qualifications:
7
progressive years of experience processing in-house, multi-state, fast-paced payroll for 600
employees.
Knowledge of ADP WFN, Netsuite is a plus.
Intermediate knowledge of Outlook and MS Excel (IF statements, Vlookups, Pivot tables, etc.
)High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service oriented.
Self-starter and able to meet strict deadlines.
Open-minded, flexible, and problem-resolution mindset.
Solid understanding of labor laws and payroll best practices.
Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related fields or equivalent work experience.
