Work with service documentation for diagnostic and repair procedures.
Participate in defining service requirements and report deviations.
Establish cross-functional relationships for diagnostics requirements.
Evaluate electronic controls for design interchangeability and compatibility.
Collaborate on the design and validation of diagnostic test tools.
Develop standardized requirements for controller programming.
Support wiring system serviceability and schematic development.
Integrate components and systems within engineering teams.
Provide cost/time modeling for product change opportunities.
Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Automotive Technology 3
years of relevant experience in an electrical engineering role Experience with the following:
Low/high voltage resolutions/issues/components on vehicles Wiring harnesses Automotive electrical repair experience Working on electrical schematics Wiring diagrams repairs Practical diagnostic experience (technical/field) Ability to comprehend schematics, electrical diagrams and connector end views/pinout Familiarity with service information diagnostics and/or authoring Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and/or equipment design experience Familiarity with vehicle communication networking protocols and tools Experience designing/developing products through the lifecycle and product/process validation Detail-oriented, including proven written/verbal communication skills Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Automotive Engineering Automotive Industry Diagnostic Skills Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Apply to this job.
