eBay Inc. seeks, Senior Advertising Analyst in Brisbane, California
Job Duties: Responsible for integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources. Conduct regular and ad-hoc analyses for tactical daily operations, as well as for key product initiatives and strategies, including database analysis; return on investment for product initiatives; traffic quality, click-fraud and bot traffic detection; etc. Work with product and data warehousing teams and business end users to understand reporting requirements. Document these requirements, resolve ambiguities and conflicting business/data architecture rules, and gather consensus. Ensure business decisions are sound and data-driven. Gather, track and analyze key performance metrics. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and scorecards that track key merchant, partner and business metrics. Function as a power user of our business intelligence reporting platform. Assist users in creation of their own reports. Act as a liaison between business owners and engineers within the company to ensure the data collected and processed is both actionable and relevant to business needs. Work with business units to develop presentations for senior management and critical external constituents. This position has no direct reports and does not supervise/manage other staff.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative discipline, or Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as an advertising/market/business analyst.
Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include the following: Statistical methodology; multivariate analysis; time-series; experimental design; data mining; familiarity with statistical package such are R; statistics. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
