Line Haul Manager in Brisbane


We're looking for the best and brightest to take our Brisbane Line Haul division to the next level. The Brisbane Line Haul Manager is an employee who provides support and leadership to transportation facilities within the Region. The position ensures the highest quality of customer service is provided within the Region and provides administrative support in the areas of compliance, regulations, policies and procedures. The position reports directly to the Vice President of OperationsBrisbane Line Haul Manager must have a valid CLASS A California Driver License and must be able to operate a 53 ft Tractor TrailerPay Range: $52,000 Medical + Dental + Unlimited PTO (subject to company approval)Specific Duties:Will take routesOversees all day-to-day facility operations. Management of Driver and Supervisor scheduleMaintenance of all Fleet within the regionMonitor the GPS of all Driver'sProvide guidance, leadership, management and evaluation of direct reports. Oversee drivers payroll and month end requirements to ensure timely submission for all operations within your division. Develop and maintain close relationships with customers. Understanding and enforcing all Progistics Distribution policies and State and Federal applicable regulations. Ensures that all employees are maintaining their credentials and are provided with all necessary job training. Performs other duties as required by Progistics Distribution Senior Management. QUALIFICATIONS:Four (4) years to Five (5 years) related experience Prior experience managing a teamValid Class A Driver LicenseMust be able to operate a 53-foot Tractor TrailerKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Must be competent and knowledgeable in operations policies and procedures. Must have computer skills including basic knowledge of excel and wordWritten and verbal communication skills, and customer service skills are essential. Ability to deal with problems and find solutions. Must have knowledge of Federal and State regulations. Must be willing to work in excess of 40 hours per week and on some weekends. Must be highly motivated and capable of leadership by example. Will attend administrative meetings and, at timesAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
