Scientist I / II

JOB SUMMARY:  Sangamo Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated scientist I/II to join our Bioanalytical Development group within the Nonclinical Development department. This candidate will implement bioanalytical strategy for biomarker quantitation to advance preclinical and clinical programs on genome editing and gene therapy. The environment is exciting and fast-paced and offers the opportunity to work and publish at the cutting edge of bioanalytical assay development.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Being a representative of Bioanalytical Development in cross functional project teams, responsible for establishing bioanalytical deliverables and timelines Lead the development and qualification of bioanalytical methods for quantitative measurement of therapeutic protein levels and biomarker activities Perform sample analysis and present results and conclusions to project teams and senior management Participate in the transfer of processes, technology, and assays to/from collaborators and outside vendors Write assay qualification plans, test method SOPs and development reports. Contribute to nonclinical and clinical study protocols and regulatory reports Evaluate new assay technologies and implement innovative techniques to solve challenging bioanalytical issues Present data in external scientific conferences and produce original peer-reviewed publications Independently carry out the aforementioned tasks and plan, implement, and complete significant projects with minimal supervision. Manage direct reports of research associates/scientists   EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Ph.D. in the field of biochemistry, cell & molecular biology or related biological science discipline with minimum of 2 years biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience Experience in the development and qualification of biomarker assays Experience with immunoassay techniques such as ELISA, MSD, Gyros Familiar with bioanalytical regulatory guidelines and industry standard practice for assay validation and sample testing Excellent written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking and critical thinking skills, and problem-solving capabilities Experience in cell-based assays, molecular biology, gene therapy is a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
