Associate Director, Commercial Analytics

Summary The Commercial Analytics lead sits on the Integrated Analytics team within Global Business Insights and Commercial Operations and is predominantly focused on field effectiveness and ad hoc secondary analytics.  This entails working effectively with field commercial teams and home office personnel to provide insights and recommendations on a variety of issues and imperatives impacting field force success.  Specific examples of key responsibilities include development and administration of the incentive compensation program and the targeting / call plan for field personnel, field force alignment, performance tracking, and managed care analysis.  Driving these deliverables effectively and optimally requires extensive collaborative efforts with Commercial Management, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Market Access, Sales, and other functions within Analytics.  Being part of the Integrated Analytics team signifies close ties with primary market research and forecasting.  It is imperative that all Integrated Analytics team members work together closely and openly, often picking up functional expertise from each other, to advance market understanding and to optimize approaches. Specific Responsibilities: Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop data-driven behavioral segmentation and targeting of entities including payers, accounts, health systems, physicians and patients Conduct and manage all field force targeting, sizing, and structural analyses. Drive development of field force call plan. Work with marketing on customer segmentation and sales operations on integrating the call plan into the CRM/SFA systems Partner cross-functionally to establish and set benchmarks and key performance indicators of overall health of product as well as success metrics for product and marketing initiatives Determine territory alignments to assure adequate coverage of key accounts; provide on-going analysis to determine need for additional territories Drive development and administration of the field incentive compensation program.  Ensure that plans motivate field personnel and support commercial objectives Ensure timely and accurate collection, analysis, management, and dissemination of incentive compensation Prepare ad-hoc analytics as needed to support incentive compensation results Support a robust suite of copay/out-of-pocket analytics. This includes copay program tracking, ROI measurement, benefit design, price sensitivity analyses and coverage gap studies Qualifications / Requirements: BS/BA degree in a quantitative discipline such as Math, Statistics, Operations Research 8+ years of experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with experience in Analytics and/or Sales Operations Experience with secondary data: syndicated sales, longitudinal patient-level data, payer data is a must Proven strategic and analytical background Ability to simplify complex insights and findings to business partners through compelling communication and presentation skills Intellectual curiosity and drive to continually expand understanding of commercial strategy Highly developed business acumen, demonstrated through prioritization and through proactive identification of analyses to advance understanding Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Strong time-management skills and experience meeting tight timelines without sacrificing accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience supporting launch products and / or new launch indications a plus Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Operations Research / Management Science, etc.) a plus About Aimmune Therapeutics, Inc.
