Director, Medical Education, Allergy and Immunology

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Senior Director, Medical Affairs, the Director, Medical Education will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of educational programs, services and tactics for targeted audiences, including allergists, allergy allied health professionals, pediatricians and managed care decision makers . These activities will relate directly to Aimmune's anticipated launch of a therapy to address peanut allergies (AR101) and continue to support the use of AR101 thereafter.   Essential Duties:  Create tactical plans for his/her area of responsibility aligned with medical strategies Manage and implement educational programs and tactics (CME and non-CME) to deliver against established educational strategies Assist in integrating plans for assigned programs and tactics into the overall education plan for AR101 and subsequent therapies Develop and apply strong knowledge of data from AR101 trials and existing food allergy references Effectively translate scientific, clinical, market research and stakeholder interaction data into educational strategies, messaging and tactical planning Communicate and collaborate with multiple functions across the organization, including clinical, medical affairs, marketing and sales and serve as a key project team member on cross-functional projects, often with high visibility within the organization Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders from the targeted audiences to develop and deliver educational presentations to a range of internal and external audiences including senior leadership, key opinion leaders, community physicians etc. Support the planning and execution of educational activities at key scientific congresses Provide support to the medical affairs team Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies   Qualifications: MD, PhD, PharmD Experience in the areas of Allergy, Asthma, Immunology, ideally in food allergy, preferred The ideal candidate will have approximately 8+ years combination of clinical, industry and academic experience specifically as it pertains to Medical Science, Medical Communication, Medical Education in allergy, immunology or asthma. Experience with key aspects of clinical trial design and interpretation required. Experience in supporting and managing key strategic and tactical execution for US and global medical communications/education Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical legal and regulatory requirements and impact on development of medical education and communications Experience with cross-functional review committees and presenting to senior leadership Special skills/knowledge: Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills Adept at forming and maintaining a collaborative work environment in and among cross functional teams Outstanding understanding of allergic disease states Demonstrate successful pharma/biotech patient/community education and communication Ability to respond appropriately to needs of key stakeholders and manage expectations Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and set priorities in circumstances of conflicting requirement Excellent project management skills Demonstrated ability to excel in smaller fast-paced entrepreneurial organizations High performing in-line/strategic educator/communicator with the ability to set a vision and provide clear direction across diverse internal and external stakeholders.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
